I ran across these beauties while visiting CallaCo during the FUN N SUN Bus Tours...

about the size of the palm of my hand... blooms can be laid on a table for decoration or placed in a shallow vase of water...

Part of the Asparagaceae Family... Also known as the "Pineapple Lily" Or "Aloha Lily" because of their slight coconut fragrance...

They come in a variety of colors, including pink, blush, green and purple (shown)...

Bulb Plants... their name means "pleasing"- "hair of the head"- referring to the pineapple like top of the bloom...

CallaCo is working on releasing this flowering bulb plant as a cut flower... and frankly... I can't wait!!!!
