New from Bloom Japan... this New Variety of Scabiosa...

Scabiosa is a genus of the Honeysuckle family... another common name is the pin cushion flower (not to be confused with pincushion protea... which I also Love!)

Scabiosa can be annuals, perennials, herbaceous or woody root stock...

Also Scabiosa are nectar rich plants... so they attract butterflies well...

P.S. This gorgeous new ruffled variety certainly caught my attention

A Perfect Match for the Pantone Color of the Year... Marsala-

These Ranunculus are Japanese Classics... and provide both Texture and Color... the picture was shared with me from Bloom Japan...

The Name Ranunculus comes from Late Latin.. and mean "little frog"....

An interesting legend... tells of the Coyote that was tossing his eyes in the air... when an eagle snatched them... and the coyote picked two rununculus to replace his eyes...

P.S. That's a really weird story... but I love how Flowers are involved

I love an interesting table centerpiece... and I love this new container from Accent Decor... it's a Chicken wire cloche'....that sets in a wonderful patina stand... great for a dinner party...

I also like the idea of encasing my flowers under the cloche'...
it reminds me of Provence or the French countryside...

So it's perfect for a "fleur la table"... trend centerpiece... so very comfortable...

Check out this easy to create arrangement... made from gorgeous Flowers from Esprit Miami... this week on Fun with Flowers and J!

P.S. So what's on the menu tonight??? Flowers... of Course!!!!
