These "bulb" flowers are #American Grown...

Relative of the Iris... their name means "Sword"...

The Green color is distinctive and available now...

Also known as the "Sword Lily"...  the blossom can be
combined to create a composite flower called a "Glamelia"...
combining the name of this flower with the "Camelia"...

P.S. We call this flower the Gladiola... or "Glad" for short!

It can reach up to 4 meters in height...  the fruit has many uses both in the cooking and for medicinal purposes...

It's common name is "pumpkin snake"... due to the unusual and unique fruit the vine bears...

P.S. This beautiful flower is called "Chichinga"... or "snake gourd
