Isn't Natural remarkable????

It may not be the "VERY First Flower"... but perhaps the oldest that
modern man has laid it eyes on...

The Perfect preserved Flower inside a piece of Amber is believed to be over 45 million years old... the tree that made the sap that created the amber is long since extinct...

But the treasure has been preserved for us to this day...

On my recent visit to SF Brannan Street ... in San Francisco
(MY favorite Flower Seller... )

Barbara was unpacking these amazing Japanese Ranunculus...

They are easily the size of a large grapefruit...
and are about 25 Inches tall...
You can see my hand below the bloom...

They are simply spectacular...
P.S Aren't flowers (and Brannan Street) Amazing... ??? I think so!!!

This just in from our Friends Mel and Diana at Resendiz Brothers...

They shared this NEW Protea Variety with Kel and I at the
World Flower Expo in Los Angeles...

The Pincushion Protea variety is called "ever-essence"...

Also known as "Fruit Salad"... it like several pincushion heads
melded together and they open at different rates...

Now this story is Flowerful

After his wife lost her eyesight due to diabetes... this amazing husband
filled their yard with flowers...

The fragrance drew her outside and lifted her spirits and relieved
her sadness...

Today, their small dairy farm is visited by 1000's of people and she enjoys
interacting with the visitors.. and sharing their garden...

This one is something else... it's AMAZING...

So... any guesses???

The Kalanchoe Tubiflora... Or "Mother of Thousands"...

The bluish flower-like "blooms" are actually small plantlets
that will fall off and start new plants...

Sometimes called the "Chandelier plant" because of it's it's pendulous
blooms...

Either way this succulent type plant is Awe-inspiring...
