Winter time is a great time to try out new recipes...
and I remember an ad campaign way back in the 70s...
"Put Flowers on the Menu Tonight"... and it was referring to a
bouquet of flowers... (Still a GREAT Idea By the way... ;)
I found these edible Certified USDA Organic Flowers... at the grocery
store.. next to the herbs... Yep... in Michigan! Can you believe it?!!
I added the flowers to our salads... Snapdragons: sweet and fruity...
Pansies- slightly peppery... and Marigolds...tangy with a touch of spice!
It was a great addition... plus... what's not to love about eating flowers!
P.S. Everyone can Put Flowers on the Table... in a vase OR even on the Plate!
