Zingiber Zerumbet... a vigorous member of the Ginger Family...

Also known as "pinecone" ginger... rhizomes of Zingiber Zerumbet have been used to food flavorings or appetizers... and extracts have been used in herbal medicine... to relieve toothaches or stomach distress...

The common name of this flower is derived from it's resemblance to a Pine Cone...

An additional common name is derived from the fragrance of the flower when it is gentle squeezed... an herbal soft fragrance is apparent during this process...

P.S. The "Shampoo" ginger... is a popular tropical flower...
